Thanks, guys.

Now I imagine there must have been at least some talk about doing 'Wake of the Flood' as a live album versus a studio one, and maybe Hunter (?) pushed the hardest for getting it done in the studio. As much as I love that album, I can't help wondering what it would've been like had it been done a la 'Skull and Roses' and 'Europe '72'.

I doubt they were considering doing another live album at that point. In the 70's even critics sympathetic to the band like Robert Christgau were suggesting they had too many live albums.
